If you fancy making a pendant (like the one I made in the tutorial posted yesterday), but don't have a UV lamp or don't want to use resin, how about using Pebeo Paints?  They work really well on fired metal clay and come in a range of colours and effects.  The Fantasy, Moon and Prisme colours all harden in a different way so make sure you get the one that's easy for you to use.
